Tack shop

The tack shop is the best place to find all of the items you’ll need for riding and caring for your horse. They generally offer a wide selection of horse related items including saddles, bridles, grooming products and riding apparel. They are often the best place to seek advice about anything related to horses.

The tack shop is ideal for finding riding apparel. Most of the time, a shop will specialize in a particular style of riding, either English or Western. Western riding is associated with cowboys of the American west, while English style takes its cues from the European military tradition.

A tack shop is often a good place to find used equipment. Used equipment is less expensive, and is often still in excellent condition. Many shops will offer clearance items, or have clearance sales, which are an excellent way to save yourself a little bit of money.
